Omaha Water Damage and a Professional Touch
A supply line caused a water loss to this basement area under the stairs in an Omaha home. The leak caused wicking into the porous drywall as illustrated by the water stains. Our SERVPRO technician loosened the carpeting from the tack strip and drilled small holes to gain access to the wall cavity. The shown air mover in the After Photo depicts the watermark drying up with an increased air flow to enhance the evaporation rate. Notice that the holes are low enough to be covered by the baseboard after the affected area is completely dry. We can test for moisture content with a needle sensor and an infrared camera. We strive to restore and not replace the water soaked panels. This reduces costs for our customer, who was pleased with our efforts, and the inconvenience and mess of a partial demolition. Call on SERVPRO of Omaha Northwest to leave you "high and dry" (402) 800-2134. "Like it never even happened."
